I'm an incurably romantic soul, so it was inevitable that I would hatch a design or two based around heart shapes and motifs. This is one of them. The other is 'Love Link'. Please don't get them mixed up.
This started off as an exercise in combining positive and negative space to create two heart shapes, each being one half 'positive' and one half 'negative'. Getting the design right was harder than it might sound. I went through a lot of prototypes for this one! At one stage I was seeing hearts in front of my eyes.
This is a very nice card to give to someone you have romantic feelings about. It's a rather remarkable and memorable gift, and very likely to make a good impression. If you happen to be a relatively young person, and therefore involved in that phenomenally brilliant yet terrifyingly tricky process known as 'dating', you may like to have one or two of these cards to hand out at opportune moments. They do come in handy, I'm told.
I'm not saying you can only give this card to someone you feel kind of smoochy about. You could give it to other people too, of course. Heart surgeons, for example, or anyone recovering from cardiac arrest.
